Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Blinkk.me ("we", "us") collects, why, and how you can control it. Blinkk.me is currently operated by an individual founder rather than a registered company; this policy will be updated with full legal entity details if that changes. For any question, contact us at hello@blinkk.me.
1. What data we collect
- Account information: your email address, password (securely hashed — we never see or store it in plain text), username, display name, and bio.
- Your links: titles, URLs, descriptions, order, and whether each link is active.
- Visitor activity on your page:if you're on the Premium plan, questions typed by visitors into your page's AI search are logged (along with which link was recommended) so you can review trends in the "Visitor insights" section of your dashboard. We don't collect any identifying information about the visitors themselves. We also count clicks per link.
- Payment information: if you subscribe to Premium, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details, only a Stripe customer and subscription reference.
- Support requests: if you contact us through the Support page, we store your name (if provided), email, and message.
2. How we use your data
We use this data to:
- Operate your account and public page
- Power AI features (answering visitor questions, generating suggestions, insights)
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Respond to support requests
- Send account-related emails (password resets, and — for Premium accounts — a weekly digest of visitor activity)
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
3. Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Blinkk.me, each of which only receives the data it needs to do its job:
- Cloud hosting and database providers — store your account and page data and serve the website.
- An AI service provider — processes visitor search questions and other AI-feature inputs to generate answers and suggestions.
- A payment processor — handles billing for Premium subscriptions. We never see or store your card details.
- An email delivery provider — sends transactional emails (password resets, weekly digests).
Some of these providers are based outside the European Union (notably in the United States). Where that's the case, they rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards recognized under GDPR to protect your data.
4. Cookies
We only use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (managed by Supabase Auth). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics on Blinkk.me.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we're required to keep certain records (for example, billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@blinkk.me. If you're in the EU and believe we haven't addressed your concern, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
7. Children's privacy
Blinkk.me isn't intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll post the update here with a new "Last updated" date.
